LRS/1
Ventilated Cotton Disc
The LRS/1 type is one of the most versatile polishing discs found in the wide range of our articles.
This wheel, commonly called "VENTILATED", takes its name from the particular type of construction, which allows air to pass from the inside to the outside of the wheel.
Therefore, “VENTILATION” is of great importance as it allows maintaining correct cooling, avoiding problems for the material subjected to polishing.
This way it is possible to estimate the critical temperature in advance.
The LRS/1 disc can be produced with or without accentuating the type of ventilation.
Available in various raw and treated fabrics, it can be impregnated.

LRS/3
Pleated Cotton Disc
This Item specially tested for sinking/immersing operations on rotary table CNC Polishing machines, continuous or jerky.
The LRS/3 pleated disc is made with the aid of particular construction techniques that allow the automatic formation of elastic and uniform folds, capable of allowing perfect balancing.
LRS/3 can be used for both polishing and lustering.
The important feature of this wheel is its particular ability to penetrate the piece to be polished, shaping itself over it and partially surrounding it.
All of this allows the polishing cuts to be crossed randomly, making the most of the shiny appearance of the treated piece.
In fact, it is known that the glossy effect is the result of a refraction that must be as perpendicular as possible to the incident light beam.
This wheel, called "PLISSED", owes its name to the particular type of construction which, in addition to allowing the passage of air from the inside to the outside of the wheel as in the case of the "Ventilated" type, facilitates its flexibility allowing you to work with considerable pressure without tearing.
In this case, it is the “pleat” that is of great importance, as it keeps the wheel fresh, avoiding particular problems for the material subjected to polishing.
In relation to the specific needs of the user, the LRS/3 disc can be produced with or without accentuating the type of pleat, varying the number of fabric layers.

LRS/4
Wavy Cotton Disc
The LRS/4 type is one of the most compact and versatile polishing discs you can find in the wide range of our articles.
This wheel called "WAVED", owes its name to the particular type of design, which allows the interpenetration of several elements forming a compact surface and at the same time facilitates the passage of air from the inside to the outside of the wheel's periphery.
"WAVE", therefore, is of great importance, as it allows the wheel to be kept cool and compact throughout its useful life, ensuring good abrasion, but avoiding particular problems of overheating of the material subjected to polishing, being able to preventively assess the temperature criticism and act accordingly.
In relation to the specific needs of the user, the LRS/4 type can be produced with or without accentuating the number of WAVES.
