LRS/1
Ventilated Cotton Disc
The LRS/1 type is one of the most versatile polishing discs found in the wide range of our articles.
This wheel, commonly called "VENTILATED", takes its name from the particular type of construction, which allows air to pass from the inside to the outside of the wheel.
Therefore, “VENTILATION” is of great importance as it allows maintaining correct cooling, avoiding problems for the material subjected to polishing.
This way it is possible to estimate the critical temperature in advance.
The LRS/1 disc can be produced with or without accentuating the type of ventilation.
Available in various raw and treated fabrics, it can be impregnated.

LRS/3
Pleated Cotton Disc
This Item specially tested for sinking/immersing operations on rotary table CNC Polishing machines, continuous or jerky.
The LRS/3 pleated disc is made with the aid of particular construction techniques that allow the automatic formation of elastic and uniform folds, capable of allowing perfect balancing.
LRS/3 can be used for both polishing and lustering.
The important feature of this wheel is its particular ability to penetrate the piece to be polished, shaping itself over it and partially surrounding it.
All of this allows the polishing cuts to be crossed randomly, making the most of the shiny appearance of the treated piece.
In fact, it is known that the glossy effect is the result of a refraction that must be as perpendicular as possible to the incident light beam.
This wheel, called "PLISSED", owes its name to the particular type of construction which, in addition to allowing the passage of air from the inside to the outside of the wheel as in the case of the "Ventilated" type, facilitates its flexibility allowing you to work with considerable pressure without tearing.
In this case, it is the “pleat” that is of great importance, as it keeps the wheel fresh, avoiding particular problems for the material subjected to polishing.
In relation to the specific needs of the user, the LRS/3 disc can be produced with or without accentuating the type of pleat, varying the number of fabric layers.

Wavy Cotton Disc
The LRS/4 type is one of the most compact and versatile polishing discs you can find in the wide range of our articles.
This wheel called "WAVED", owes its name to the particular type of design, which allows the interpenetration of several elements forming a compact surface and at the same time facilitates the passage of air from the inside to the outside of the wheel's periphery.
"WAVE", therefore, is of great importance, as it allows the wheel to be kept cool and compact throughout its useful life, ensuring good abrasion, but avoiding particular problems of overheating of the material subjected to polishing, being able to preventively assess the temperature criticism and act accordingly.
In relation to the specific needs of the user, the LRS/4 type can be produced with or without accentuating the number of WAVES.

LRS/6
Sisal Padded Disc
The LRS/6 SISAL disc is a typical grinding wheel that uses as textile material a vegetable fiber fabric called “SISAL”, a material known for its high abrasive capacity and good hygroscopicity, so much so that it can be used correctly in preliminary operations with abrasive pastes liquids and solids.
These wheels also require VENTILATION, which is essential for peripheral cooling and consequent sealing of the abrasive paste. In fact, it is preferable to use a system of holes made up of an external metal support, which allows air circulation.
The compactness of this wheel is determined by a series of concentric seams that assemble the fabric layers. These seams are made with special threads compatible with sisal fabric, so as not to cause damage or undesirable effects when moving from one seam to another due to the wear of the wheel.
The LRS/6 type can be treated with various types of resin that proportionally modify the grain, increasing abrasive strength, rigidity and cutting capacity.
THICKNESSES:
• m/m 10 = 6 layers of sisal
• m/m 15 =N. 8 layers of sisal
• m/m 20 =N. 10 layers of sisal
• m/m 28 =No. 12 layers of sisal
• m/m 32 =No. 14 layers of sisal

LRS/8
Wavy Disc in Sisal+Cotton
The LRS/8 disc is one of the most compact and versatile grinding wheels you can find in the wide range of our articles.
This wheel called "WAVED", owes its name to the particular type of construction, which allows the interpenetration of several elements forming a compact surface and at the same time facilitates the passage of air from the inside to the outer periphery of the wheel.
CORRUGATION, obtained with the help of "SISAL and COTTON" is of great importance, as it allows the disc to be kept fresh and compact throughout its useful life, guaranteeing excellent abrasion and avoiding problems of overheating of the material subjected to polishing, being able to evaluate the critical temperature in advance and act accordingly.
In relation to the specific needs of the user, the LRS/8 disc can be produced with or without accentuating the number of WAVES:
NUMBER OF WAVES:
• 32 = normal curl
• 36 = very wavy
• 45 = super wavy
The LRS/8 type, like all our articles, can be resined with various types of acrylic, non-toxic and thermosetting polymers which, in relation to the programmed rigidity, give the wheel a different degree of abrasion.
The identification colors determine the degree of hardness of the tool.

RLS/13 Special Cotton Disc
The LRS/13 Disc is a wheel particularly suitable for automatic processing with robotic cells.
This wheel is similar to the traditional construction type with simple sheared and/or blocked plates with a concentric seam.
It fully reproduces the finish carried out with manual techniques, as the systems that can use these discs are equipped with particular programs that allow high quality standards to be achieved, as if the wheels worked under the constant control of the operator, giving rise to qualities very close to those achieved in manual processing and in any case superior to automatic processing standards of the rotary table type.
The LRS/13 type, like all our other items, can be made with different types of fabrics, which determine the grain and consequently the final polishing result.
This versatility allows the formation of cotton discs for thinning with “impregnated” fabrics and super finishing discs produced with “brushed” and “bleached” fabrics.
This last type of fabric undergoes a particular chemical treatment that permanently eliminates all impurities contained in the cotton fiber, thus guaranteeing the absolute absence of impurities, which could cause problems such as micro-stretch marks and cut marks, thus compromising the final shiny appearance of the fabric. object

RLS/3 Cotton Macro Padded Disc
The RLS/3 Macro disc is manufactured with the aid of particular construction techniques that allow the automatic formation of elastic and uniform folds to allow perfect balance of the tool.
Can be used for both Polishing and shine.
The notable feature of this disc is its particular ability to penetrate the piece to be polished, modeling itself over it and partially surrounding it.
All of this allows polishing cuts to be crossed randomly, making the most of the shiny appearance of the treated piece; in fact, it is known that the brilliant effect is the result of a refraction as perpendicular as possible to the incident light ray.
This wheel, called "Pleated", takes its name from the particular type of construction, which in addition to allowing the passage of air from the inside to the outer periphery of the wheel as in the "VENTILATED" type, facilitates its flexibility by allowing it to work under considerable pressure without to tear apart.
In this case, it is the “Pleating” that is of great importance, as it allows the disc to be maintained, avoiding particular problems for the material subject to polishing.
In relation to the specific needs of the user, the macro type LRS/3 can be produced with or without accentuating the type of pleat, varying the number of layers of the fabric.
